TNS Digital study launch 2010

 

Digital Kenya : A glimpse into the on-line life of Kenyans. 

The ICT Board in partnership with TNS Research International recently completed an on-line and qualitative study “Digital Kenya”, and the results are now available. 

The key themes for the study are:

  • The internet in our lives
  • Social life and engagement
  • Buying and selling
  • Knowledge
  • Marketing
  • GOK  and social services
 

The study was conducted to provide organizations with an up-to-the minute understanding of how people in Kenya use internet; to provide new analysis of the consumer and what motivates them to behave in particular ways when they are on-line and to understand the needs of users of the digital space in Kenya so as to harness opportunities and drive innovation of services for the future.
