A two way sms platform is being implemented to enable the judiciary provide up to date information to clients regarding the status of their cases.
The system under deployment currently has the capability to provide the customers with information such as:
When their cases are due for mention, hearing, judgment, the court their matter is etc.
- Customers do not have to travel long distances to check at the court registry when their matter is listed.
- Convenience; the service is available on a 24x7 basis, thus in a way the courts will have extended their opening hours now to 24 hours.
- It is envisaged that the number of clients seeking these services will exceed 10,000.
