Status Update:Tandaa Digital Content Grant

The Kenya ICT Board is currently running a three-year grant program to support the development of local digital content. Grantees are selected through a Call for Proposal announced annually in June.


Round I (2010/11)

The first round of the Digital Content Grant was held in 2010; 14 companies and one individual were awarded grants. Over 2,000 people participated in the Call for Proposal, which was open from June 3 – July 19, 2010.

2010 Grantee Status

Grantees have 12 months in which to complete their projects. Projects in the first round of grant making began in November/December 2010 and are expected to be completed by the end of 2011.
