A new feature of the Tandaa Digital Grant introduces a section for established companies to compete for a grant. This grant type requires companies to match the grant amount in full to a maximum of $150,000. This means that the company will provide the same amount of funds to the project.
Companies in this section must be officially registered in Kenya. For the purpose of the grant, established companies must fulfill the following:
- in existence for at least 10 years
- an annual turnover of at least Ksh 75 million
- audited accounts for at least three years
- minimum of 40 staff members
Applicants will be required to provide the following:
- Commitment to match the grant funding received from Kenya ICT Board in full
- Resumes of the project leader. The project leader must have the required skills and qualifications to be able to execute the project to completion
- Valid PIN number
- Complete grant application form in English
